Sofiya specialises in HNWI asset structuring and protection, including the establishment of cross-border ownership and asset management structures based on holding companies, foundations and trusts. She provides customised, fully fledged solutions in the UAE, GCC and other jurisdictions, tailored to each client’s specific circumstances and taking into account the need to protect assets in the event of death, divorce or relocation to another jurisdiction.
Sofiya is a DIFC Wills Draftsman and advises clients on complex succession matters involving UAE and international family wealth. She also handles cross-border family law matters, including divorce, nuptial agreements, property division and child-related issues in the UAE.
Before joining Willow Tax & Legal, Sofiya worked as a Counsel at the UAE office of one of the largest CIS law firms, where she was responsible for private wealth and corporate law matters in the UAE. She also worked at BSA Law, advising clients from CIS countries on private wealth and corporate matters in the UAE.
